OKAY!…… so like… lol I’ve been so busy it’s not even funny, but I guess I can do a quick update on my page since it’s been collecting dust for quite a while now .. ~_~ This is my comicon challenge entry, it’s called devilman, for those who know the character, good for you, for those who don’t, it’s completely fine because this guy was created 40 years prior to my birth haha
so it’s been a really long time since I last updated. I’ve been kept busy at work lately and my dkstudio.org website is down… so my entire portfolio page is down as well since, dkstudio.org is where I host alll of the images =___= …. anyways, I’ve made backups and hopefully will reupload the images recently :/
well, so this sketching thing is getting big, we still have a mind-fuked project to finish later on that nick suggested .. lol and i’m interested yes, but i wonder wut would happen to me during the process of the project hahaha, anyways, here is my redesign for SSBB character - Yoshi!

k i know it’s a little late to post lol it’s already started for a few days.
this is the description and some basic info about my character…
Tiamasis comes from Tiamat, the king of dragon. He was the son of the dragon king and the elf queen. This is of course, kept as a secret as he is a creature that was produced secretly by the elves. The creature was called Neinfricat Dragoon.
Neinfricat Dragoon is a mixture of elves and dragons. They were created by elves for war, and for the precious energy resource that lies within the crystals born with these creatures.
Long ago, peace and balance was maintained between elves and dragons until the elves committed “greed”. They wanted more power, particularly the power of the dragons. A special crystal was embedded in each individual dragon from birth. These crystals contain different elemental energy that could power an entire fortress or more. The elves developed a device to constrain the power of the dragons and performed rituals and experiments. Neinfricat Dragoon was created. Nonetheless, the elves were incapable to control such power so the dragoons were kept underground. Tournaments take place and dragoons kill each other while the elves take the energy generated from their crystals when in battles.
Tiamasis is entitled as the king of dragoons because he, of all dragoons, survived the tournament for centuries … now he’s freed up to be sent to the battle field…
I am not a really good writer, so hopefully the story is not too confusing to understand … plus it’s a lot of txts … hope it doesn’t get too boring lol

didn’t like the helmet part too much and was getting some comments from people that maybe showing the face is better….
for me it kinda takes out the mystery and vengeance feeling in the character though… anyways here’s some more helmet design
My friend and I decided to take turns and write out descriptions, then we would sketch it out, to sharpen both our design and drawing/painting skills… this turned out to take 2 weeks cuz … yes … uh we got busy lol. anyways, description is:
It’s blind, detects object by ultra sound like a bat
It’s strong and agile so this makes up for the lack of sight
It lives around amazon areas, humid place, think of lakes and ocean
It changes colors according to the environment to catch preys.

so other than the description, we come up with our own history of this creature, so it would prolly look quite different…
I haven’t tried too much of skewed proportion and all that … so here is a go at it, two head sculpt, first one took about 4 hours. Starting from scratch with zsphere then retopologized (hence the longer hours) the second one was faster because I had a base to work from … They are not sooo stylized yet, I’m just trying to get used to the non realistic looking head here … haha
here is the new stuff I did as demanded by mr. ntge lol I unfortunately ran outta ram when I am making the pillar things on the side … so I couldn’t get any more details in also cuz of the time constraints, but I have gotten 4 Gb of ram just recently hahaha, time should not be a problem over the weekend so hopefully I’ll get to work on this more later on.
The modeling is pretty much done. I am wondering if I should make a complete model with colors and give it a title ….
